Here's an example of a digital video I made, which could be used as an example for student projects. This was made with MS Photo Story 3, which is a free, fast, and incredibly user-friendly program for making films out of slide shows. Prior to discovering this program, I had no idea how easy or fun this could be. Now I definitely intend to give my students some Photo Story related projects.
This video is basically my own adaptation of Frankenstein, via images I found online. My only regret is that I didn't have access to a microphone to record some narration over it. That forced me to have to write all my information in the form of titles on the slides, and some of those are tough to read. If I use it in a live classroom environment, I'm definitely going to make sure there's a microphone there.
